Our Story

Crisp NYC was founded by a New York City based chef, Matt Jay Kornfeld.  Chef Matt and his wife Jillian are also owners of a 10-year-old Yorkie/Schnauzer mix (also known as a Shnorkie 😊) named Jack!  During the summer of 2020, Jack's Vet, Dr. Spencer Herman of York Veterinary Center, asked Chef Matt if he could create a high protein natural treat comparable to what his center offered currently.  With Matts research and development, combined with 15 plus years of experience in Michelin starred, fine dining restaurants, hotels, and country clubs, Chef Matt was able to create his own artisanal and natural pet treat.  Now Chef Matt, Jillian, and Jack want to share their crisps with you and your pets!

Our Crisps

Our crisps are natural, pure, and simple pet treats made from one to three whole ingredients sourced in the U.S.  Our chicken crisps are made from chicken breast and rib meat, originated and matured on local U.S. family farms without the use of growth hormones or steroid supplements and are minimally processed.  Various New York Metro area veterinarians accredit our crisps, and they are all locally made on the Upper East Side in NYC.
